In 2020, the "mandatory energy-saving standards for housing" are scheduled to be implemented, and it is expected that Japanese housing will increasingly aim for high airtightness and high insulation. In a site where glass wool was filled using the 2x4 construction method and a vapor barrier was installed on the interior side, significant corrosion due to condensation occurred. "Dry Pro" is a floor underfloor dehumidifying fan that effectively eliminates moisture and condensation, and is effective against mold, pests, and decay fungi in the wooden parts under the floor. Assuming the early stages of new construction using foundation insulation methods, 36 liters of water were sprayed on the underfloor foundation of each building, and dried wood (cedar) was installed to measure the moisture content of the wood and the humidity under the floor. As a result, the buildings where this product was installed gradually dried out by repeatedly operating the dehumidification process every day, and after about two months, an average of approximately 70% RH dry condition was confirmed even outside of dehumidification operation hours.
