Achieving long-term reliability and reworkability for optical bonding silicone OCA with αGEL.

This is a silicone OCA (Optical Clear Adhesive: high transparency adhesive sheet) for optical bonding that fills the air layer within the display to improve visibility. It offers a rich lineup of thicknesses (up to t1.8mm) and possesses soft properties that are resistant to yellowing. We propose a total solution for optical bonding, including lamination and cutting processes. ● Silicone OCA This silicone-based OCA (high transparency adhesive sheet) has excellent physical properties and demonstrates stable performance, unlike typical acrylic-based adhesives. It is easier to handle than liquid types. ● Long-term reliability It has extremely low discoloration (yellowing) due to heat and ultraviolet light, and its low temperature dependence allows it to maintain stable performance over a wide temperature range. ● Flexibility It maintains flexibility over a wide range of operating temperatures and can relieve stress, thereby reducing display unevenness and improving shock absorption. ● Transparency It has high transparency and enhances visibility by increasing brightness and contrast. ● Reworkability It is reworkable, which minimizes material loss during the lamination process and enables cost reduction.
