Providing smart office and building solutions through optical communication networks!
Microsens, based in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, was founded in 1993 and is a leading company in the country for optical communication devices and transmission systems. In recent years, it has proposed the combination of dedicated control hardware and software with in-house communication infrastructure, focusing on the multifunctionalization of corporate and office WAN/LAN environments under the keyword "IP-based building automation." This enables not only the functionality of data communication networks but also control of air conditioning, public address systems, lighting, and electric blinds down to the level of individual office rooms. The company's core business, the communication devices and systems division, promotes the smartening of office communication infrastructure with a full lineup of communication equipment products, including standalone devices such as optical transceiver modules and media converters, as well as subsystems and transmission systems, along with operational know-how.
