The site pipe is an ideal product for visually inspecting and confirming the weld bead inside the tube generated by a circumferential welding machine. When this system is inserted into the welding assembly of tubes or tube fittings, it projects an enlarged image of the weld area onto the top of the head. The visible image allows for verification similar to directly inspecting a cut sample. The site pipe for tube welding has a tapered tip, making it suitable for narrow tube piping that has been constricted by the weld bead (*Regular Series).

SIGHT-PIPES are borescopes made from optical-grade materials. They allow for the observation and measurement of areas that are typically difficult to inspect, such as the inner walls of pipes. When the sight pipe is set inside a machined bore, it enables easy observation of the interior of the bore from the top of the system. Since the inner walls of the bore can be observed under bright illumination, it is possible to quickly and easily check for burrs, porous holes, cracks, and other visual features or defects present.
