Counterpressure method
The group company owns 35 injection molding machines ranging from 35t to 1800t, capable of handling products from small to large sizes.
This is a shrinkage prevention molding method for thick-walled molded products that can be set with a wide range of thicknesses. We also accommodate thick-walled shapes that are impossible with standard molding through special molding techniques.
"In general molding methods..." - When the wall thickness exceeds 4mm, deformation such as sink marks and warping occurs. - By adding foaming agents to the resin, sink marks can be prevented, but bubbles appear on the surface, creating swirl patterns and roughening the appearance. "With the counter-pressure method!" - A smooth surface of the molded product can be obtained, and due to excellent mold reproducibility, texture processing is also possible.

basic information
■Principle of Counter Pressure Method Inject resin into the mold cavity ↓ Maintain a gas pressure in the cavity that is higher than the foaming pressure until just before the resin filling is complete, preventing the resin from foaming. Since the foaming rate is below 5%, there is almost no decrease in product strength due to the formation of a strong surface skin layer, resulting in physical properties equivalent to solid molded products. ↓ Achieve a smooth surface on the molded product!

Applications/Examples of results
■Features of the Counter Pressure Method - Significant reduction in shrinkage and warping of molded products. - Increased rigidity of molded products. - Appearance achieves a smooth surface comparable to solid molded products. - Molded products can have a wide range of wall thickness. (Production molded products have a wall thickness range of 5 to 18 mm) - Lower filling pressure into the mold allows for a reduction in the size of the clamping force of the molding machine. - The mold has an airtight structure, which results in slightly higher costs and requires a gas control unit.
