Inline reduction gear with self-locking function for tilting and inversion devices, 100 kg·m.
SRM100
Equipped with a unique self-locking function to maintain the load on the output side when stopped! Compact and ideal for tilting and inversion devices! Supports a permissible rated holding torque of 100 kgm!
The "S-Reducer," which is being adopted across various industries due to its higher efficiency and compact design compared to existing worm gear reducers, has improved its allowable rated holding torque from 80 kgm (785 Nm) to nearly the same size at 100 kgm (980 Nm). Its greatest feature is the unique self-locking function (shoji-lock), which allows for the retention of loads even when the movement is stopped during lifting, rotating, or tilting of equipment, making it ideal for situations where one wants to hold or work at a stopped position. It has been introduced as a mechanical component in various applications such as semiconductor manufacturing equipment, automotive assembly lines, and plant lid opening and closing. Another feature is that, unlike the aforementioned worm gear reducers, the input and output shafts are aligned in a straight line (in-line), making it very compact and easy to integrate into equipment. We offer a variety of reduction ratios according to the speed of rotation and input torque, so please feel free to consult us. *For more details, please visit our official website or feel free to contact us.*

basic information
Please check the specifications of the SRM100 product in the S Reducer catalog. Five features of the S Reducer (5S) - Self Lock = Maintains the stopping position of the output shaft. - Simple = Compact, lightweight, and economical. - Strong = Excellent strength and durability. - Silent = Operates quietly without ratchet noise. - Safely = Maintenance-free with a sealed structure that does not require grease replacement. We offer a wide range of products utilizing this mechanism. (Patents obtained in Japan, as well as in the EU, the United States, South Korea, Taiwan, and China.)

Applications/Examples of results
Space-saving can be achieved compared to worm gear reducers. Efficiency is also good. Many devices that want to maintain self-holding during operation, such as for raising and lowering furnaces and opening and closing doors, are adopted. Used by semiconductor equipment manufacturers, automobile manufacturers (factories), plant manufacturers, etc.

Company information
The load-holding function equipped reduction mechanism (shoji-lock) has been developing applied products such as winches and rack jacks since the early 2000s. Steady sales activities have borne fruit, and it has begun to be adopted for various applications. Unlike conventional worm reduction gears with self-locking functions where the input and output shafts are orthogonal, this mechanism has them aligned in a straight line (inline), allowing for a compact design and space-saving, which has received high praise, resulting in a diverse range of practical examples. (Patents have been obtained in Japan, the United States, the EU (Germany, France, the UK), China, South Korea, and Taiwan.) Furthermore, starting in April 2023, we launched a new business for overseas parts procurement, beginning with Vietnam. Currently, a majority of our parts are also procured overseas, and we hope to leverage our achievements and network to assist companies struggling with cost reduction in parts procurement.
