LED tunnel lighting (with initial luminous flux correction function) conforms to the LED road and tunnel lighting introduction guidelines (draft) and improves the fixture luminous flux.
The tunnel lighting from Hoshi and Denki adopts long-lasting, high-efficiency white LEDs as the light source, and by incorporating an initial luminous flux correction function, it achieves low maintenance and energy-saving capabilities. ○ It can reduce power consumption and CO2 emissions. ○ Maintenance work that involves traffic regulation can be minimized. Maintenance tasks that require traffic regulation, such as lamp replacement, can be reduced. 1. Long lifespan: 20 years; only one replacement of LED and control device; lifespan of 90,000 hours. The lifespan of the LED module is 90,000 hours, allowing for over 10 years of maintenance-free operation with 24-hour daily lighting. By coordinating the lifespan of the LED module and control device, only one replacement of both will be needed during the 20 years of operation. 2. Lineup: Two types of light distribution and four types of light source capacities. With two types of light distribution and four types of light source capacities, it accommodates a wide range of design speed conditions (40-80 km/h). ■ Ceiling-mounted wide span (CL) …… Two types: LED 50W, 80W ■ Side wall-mounted wide span (BL) …… Four types: LED 40W, 50W, 80W, 100W 3. Supports special dimming: Two-stage dimming capability.

basic information
By adopting a 65% dimming capability, brightness can be reduced even under conditions where dimming was previously impossible, achieving energy savings. ○ Initial luminous flux correction function (our unique feature) The initial luminous flux correction uses a brightness sensor. It corrects the initial excessive luminous flux while also compensating (suppressing) fluctuations in luminous flux at low temperatures, enabling further energy savings. ○ Standard equipped luminous flux decrease alarm function (our unique feature) An alarm lamp is equipped in the initial luminous flux correction unit, and when the luminous flux (maintenance rate) of the LED module falls below 80%, the alarm lamp (red high-brightness LED) blinks. The alarm function allows for easy identification of the timing for replacing the LED module, improving maintainability and safety. Company information
Hoshia Electric has established itself as a top manufacturer in various fields, including information display systems such as road information boards, industrial lighting known for its waterproof and explosion-proof features under the name "Water Pearl," tunnel lighting that began with the full-scale installation in the Kanmon Tunnel, and resin products represented by "Cutting Duct." As a new business, we started an electromagnetic noise countermeasure (EMC) product business in 1997 to address electromagnetic noise issues arising from digital devices. In the LED business, we successfully developed a blue light-emitting diode in April 2002 and a white light-emitting diode in December of the same year. Based on these technologies, we are actively expanding our business in the field of LED lighting fixtures, ranging from roads and tunnels to industrial lighting. On March 9, 2018, Hoshia Electric Co., Ltd. was listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange First Section. In April 2022, we transitioned to the Tokyo Stock Exchange Standard Market. Moving forward, we will continue to leverage our creative thinking and technological capabilities cultivated thus far to develop even more innovative products and strive for business expansion.
