We conducted an analysis and added considerations regarding summer (southwest wind) and winter (north wind).
The analysis of the wind environment around the Namba Oi Mansion examined the impact on the wind environment in the neighboring area, focusing on a residential complex located in the urban area of Ota Ward, Tokyo, during the summer (southwest wind) and winter (north wind). Issues related to wind environments (building wind) frequently arise with the construction of relatively low-rise condominiums, around 10 stories, primarily in Tokyo. The situation is such that a building of about 30 meters in scale will be constructed in an area densely populated with single-story buildings (approximately 6 meters high). Therefore, if the planned building is positioned in a way that obstructs the wind paths of the block, there are concerns about the deterioration of the surrounding wind environment. basic information
【Analysis Model】 - The planned building and surrounding neighborhoods are reproduced in detail. - The number of grids is 113×117×43=568,503. - To accurately reproduce the wind environment, the grid is designed to be finer around the planned building and within one block of the neighboring area. - The analysis model diagram is from after the planning. - Wind speed conditions are determined based on meteorological data, setting wind direction and speed, and applying a power law distribution for the wind. 【Analysis Results】 - The area surrounding the planned building mainly consists of single-story structures, but there is a slightly taller office building across the road to the east, and a building of about six stories to the north. - In the area between the two buildings, the wind is slightly accelerated. - Due to the position of the planned building obstructing the flow, a complex wind pattern with three-dimensional turbulence is formed in the surrounding area and the downstream region. - A comparison with results prior to planning confirms that the wind strength differs on the downstream side of the planned building. - It is also possible to examine the effects of wind mitigation measures such as landscaping and windbreak fences around the site. ● For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

In environmental simulation, we are engaged in the independent development and sale of a three-dimensional fluid analysis program, as well as contract analysis services using this software. For over a decade, we have been involved in thermal fluid analysis in fields such as architecture, civil engineering, machinery, and electronics, handling numerous analyses and accumulating a wealth of know-how and knowledge. Our diverse analysis and visualization functions, honed through practical experience, have received high praise as CFD software from many companies and research institutions. ● Import function for BIM-compatible CAD data such as Revit and DXF ● Import function for geographic information system (GIS) data ● SuperCartesian function that freely represents diagonal boundaries and complex curved surfaces ● High-speed, high-precision radiation calculations and high-precision turbulence analysis using DNS ● Moving boundary problem analysis function that accommodates the movement of multiple objects in space ● User-friendly interface and easy-to-understand animation features Of course, we also provide software support and accept contract analyses. Focusing on air conditioning ventilation and wind environment analysis, we offer high cost-performance solutions for a wide range of problems, from simple and small-scale issues to complex and large-scale analyses. We look forward to your visit, along with our extensive analysis case studies.
