U-Metal allows for repairs to be completed easily, safely, and at low cost, and its potential is not limited to a single application; it is utilized across various fields worldwide. Additionally, it responds flexibly to user demands and offers versatile repair agents, as well as products that demonstrate exceptional repair capabilities for specific applications. Naturally, it complies with stringent EU safety standards such as RoHS, as required by users. Among these, the ceramic type excels in wear resistance for repairs of equipment and internal flow wear in pumps. The name "ceramic type" is assigned based on the ratio of the materials contained and does not imply that it can only be used with ceramics. It can bond to all substances and perform repair work without melting or damaging the material.

The surface preparation for the repair area involves the removal of rust and debris through general surface treatment, thorough sanding of the repair area, degreasing, and cleaning, followed by drying. After that, the mixed U-Metal standard type is applied by rubbing it onto the repair area, and finally, it is coated from above to complete the process. Initial curing begins 45 minutes after mixing (at room temperature), and it will harden in 2 to 3 hours. After 24 hours, it will be fully cured and exhibit high wear resistance. If waiting 24 hours is not feasible, it can be shortened using the methods described later. When seeking high wear resistance, physical properties, chemical resistance, corrosion resistance, and heat resistance, a 24-hour period may be necessary. In general repairs, after about 4 to 6 hours, which is double the initial curing time, it reaches a semi-hardened state, and even in that case, it demonstrates sufficient performance. Additionally, overlapping coats can be applied before curing, and there are no issues with applying additional coats after curing as well. Using a hairdryer or similar device to apply warm air can also shorten the curing time. The U-Metal standard type cures through a chemical reaction, so if the thickness of the mixed U-Metal is around 5mm, it promotes the best curing condition. Conversely, if you want to delay curing, spreading it thinly will slow it down.
