The term "aluminum type" is named according to the ratio of the metals contained and does not mean it is exclusively for aluminum. It can bond with all substances and perform repair work.

The surface preparation for the repair area involves removing rust and debris, sanding the repair area, degreasing, and thoroughly cleaning it before drying. After that, apply the mixed U-Metal standard type by rubbing it onto the repair area, and finally, coat it from above to complete the process. Initial hardening begins 45 minutes after mixing, and it hardens after 2 to 3 hours. After 24 hours, it reaches a hardness suitable for machining. You can also shorten the curing time by applying warm air with a hairdryer or similar device. The U-Metal standard type hardens through a chemical reaction, so the best condition for promoting hardening is when the thickness of the mixed U-Metal is around 5mm. Conversely, if you want to delay hardening, spreading it thinly will slow it down. Pre-cooling the base agent can further delay the curing time.
