About 120 years ago in Germany, which laid the foundation for modern machinery, chemistry, science, and aerospace engineering and continues to exert its influence, a high polymer metal cold welding agent was created using modern chemical technology to adapt to a highly industrialized social structure. U-Metal can complete repairs easily, safely, and at low cost, and its potential is not limited to a single application; it is utilized across various fields worldwide. Additionally, it offers versatility as a repair agent that can flexibly respond to user demands and implement optimal repair systems for special applications, while also featuring many products that demonstrate exceptional repair capabilities for specific uses. Naturally, it complies with stringent EU safety standards such as RoHS, as required by users. Among these, the standard type iron variant has received high praise; it possesses physical properties second only to the ceramic type in the series, excelling in heat resistance and chemical resistance, and is used in many repair applications. The term "iron type" is designated based on the ratio of contained metals and does not imply it is exclusively for iron. It can bond to all materials and perform repair work without melting or damaging the substrate.

The surface preparation for the repair area involves the general removal of rust and debris, thorough sanding of the repair area, degreasing, and cleaning, followed by drying. After that, the mixed U-Metal standard type should be applied by rubbing it onto the repair area, and finally, it should be applied on top as a finishing layer. The initial curing begins 45 minutes after mixing (at room temperature), and it will harden in 2 to 3 hours. After 24 hours, it will reach a hardness sufficient for machining. If waiting 24 hours is not feasible, there are methods mentioned later to shorten this time. The 24-hour wait is necessary in situations where machining is required or where high temperature, high pressure, and chemical resistance are anticipated. In general repairs, after about 4 to 6 hours, which is double the initial curing time, it will reach a semi-hardened state, and even in that case, it will perform sufficiently well. Additionally, overlapping layers can be applied before curing, and there are no issues with overlapping layers after curing as well. Using a hairdryer or similar device to apply warm air can also shorten the curing time. The U-Metal standard type cures through a chemical reaction, so if the thickness of the mixed U-Metal is around 5mm, it will promote curing in the best condition. Conversely, if you want to delay curing, spreading it thin will slow it down. Cooling the base agent in advance can further delay the curing time.
