**Features** ○ Types Available in two types: flake and granular. ○ Hygroscopicity The vapor pressure of calcium chloride (approximately 1 mmHg at 20°C) is lower than the vapor pressure of moisture in the atmosphere (approximately 10 mmHg at 20°C and 60% humidity), allowing for moisture absorption due to the vapor pressure difference. ○ Deliquescence At room temperature (below 30°C), deliquescence begins with the hexahydrate (50%), absorbing moisture and deliquescing up to near the saturation point. ○ Freezing Point Depression Calcium chloride is highly soluble in water, and a 30% aqueous solution does not freeze until -55°C. ● For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
