Cutting soil reinforced earth wall method
The RRR method (Reinforced Railroad with Rigid Facing-Method) is a new soil retention technique (reinforced soil wall) developed as an alternative to traditional retaining wall methods, utilizing the principles of reinforced soil engineering. Traditional retaining walls are structures that, from a mechanical perspective, aim to support external forces (earth pressure) exerted by the soil through the weight of the structure and the ground reaction of the foundation, opposing the soil and embodying a philosophy of countering force with force. In contrast, the reinforced soil wall method promotes the stabilization of the soil itself by placing tensile reinforcement materials within the soil, representing a structural philosophy that seeks to coexist with the soil.

basic information
【Features】 ○ When targeting existing embankments with lower consolidation compared to natural ground, large-diameter reinforcement materials (radish anchors) using FRP core materials and mixing methods are employed to efficiently enhance the friction resistance of the reinforcement. ○ Ground improvement piles installed before excavation provide pre-existing wall rigidity against the excavation surface, minimizing deformation during excavation and increasing stability, ultimately leading to the construction of cast-in-place concrete wall surfaces. ○ Ensures long-term stability, including during earthquakes after construction. ● For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

The RRR Method Association was established in July 1991 with the aim of promoting and improving the technology of reinforced soil methods that effectively utilize the effects of planar reinforcement materials or rod-shaped reinforcement materials and rigid wall surfaces to provide rational and highly stable soil structures. At its inception, the association started with a total of 63 regular and associate members and has since actively worked towards the dissemination and technological advancement of the RRR method. As of June 2008, 17 years after the establishment of the association, it has developed into an organization with a proven track record of over 100 km in reinforced soil retaining walls in the fields of railways and roads. This achievement is entirely thanks to the support and cooperation of everyone involved, for which we express our heartfelt gratitude.
