This is a new system that prevents rust by converting red rust on iron surfaces into black rust using inorganic strong alkaline components. The application method can be performed using general painting techniques, including spraying.
Mighty CF is an inorganic rust prevention material. It can be used as a rust prevention material for all steel structures, including steel legs, steel girders, steel floor slabs, and reinforcing bars, as well as architectural steel structures. In a case where a fishing pier extending 300 meters into the sea in Shimonoseki was newly painted 26 years ago, it has maintained its rust prevention function sufficiently without any major repairs. The application method is similar to general painting techniques; after performing a type three surface preparation, it is applied by spraying, brushing, or rolling. Generally, it is applied in three coats at a rate of 1.5 kg per square meter, followed by a topcoat. In cases where light rust prevention is sufficient, a topcoat may be applied at a rate of 1.0 kg per square meter. It is registered with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's NETIS, and there are over 1,000 construction achievements, making it a reliable rust prevention material.
