Natural origin heavy metal contamination soil immobilization agent (RE) is an immobilization agent for naturally occurring heavy metal contaminated soil generated at construction sites such as tunnels, rivers, roads, and dams. It is a calcium-based immobilization agent primarily composed of scallop shells and gypsum powder. By adding this immobilization agent (soluble) to the contaminated soil, a reaction layer with a high concentration of calcium is formed on the surface of the soil particles (a site that promotes the immobilization reaction). This reaction layer efficiently immobilizes the heavy metals and suppresses their leaching from the contaminated soil particles.
