The depth of modification through crystallization can reach over 30 cm in a humid environment, depending on the concrete conditions. Concrete structures treated with Zaipex block water by promoting cement crystal growth in capillary voids and cracks, which are the causes of water leakage, thus densifying the material. Additionally, it simultaneously blocks the intrusion of harmful substances and consumes contained moisture, leading to effects such as the suppression of carbonation, rust prevention, salt damage prevention, alkali-silica reaction prevention, and further frost damage prevention, thereby enhancing the durability of the concrete. 2.
