In a food factory in the Kanto region that manufactures and sells milk, ice cream, desserts, and dairy products, a heel clamp is used at the piping connection points of the coffee extraction circuit. The piping size is 1.5 inches, and the frequency of attaching and detaching the heel clamp was about 1 to 2 times a day. However, the work was being done at a height of about 2.5 meters using a step ladder, requiring the worker to stretch their arms to perform the attachment and detachment, which took a considerable amount of time. Therefore, we introduced our "One-Touch Coupling." As a result, the work of attaching and detaching the piping at height with arms extended became very easy with just one touch, and since there are no parts that detach from the coupling body, such as screws or gaskets, there have been no accidents involving parts falling to the floor. At the site of the steel mill in Hyogo Prefecture, issues such as heat generation and poor electrical contact at the connection points between busbars had been a problem for some time. In particular, the heat generation at the busbar connection points could exceed 200°C due to electrical current, posing a risk of fire and other disasters, necessitating improvements. In response, we introduced our "Busbar Connection Element (Seal Contact)." As a result, the heat generation at the connection points between busbars was significantly reduced, and we were also able to improve the poor electrical contact that had previously occurred during busbar connections. At the inspection site of a vehicle motor manufacturer located in the Kanto region, round metal connectors from a domestic manufacturer are used in the motor inspection process. The method for attaching and detaching these metal connectors is a screw-in type, and the connectors were manually fitted in three places on a single jig. Additionally, to prevent the terminals from bending during diagonal insertion, the work had to be done carefully and took a considerable amount of time. Therefore, the introduction of Salton's "one-touch connector" was implemented. As a result, the tasks that were originally performed by multiple workers were completely automated, reducing the takt time by about 90%. With the reduced need for manpower in the inspection process, labor and time could now be redirected to other work processes. In the manufacturing site of automotive molding parts in the Chubu region, when detaching the coupling part that connects the temperature control unit and the mold, high-temperature temperature control water remaining in the gap between the valve and the opening would drip, sometimes causing burns to the workers' hands. Therefore, we introduced Salton's "Drip-Free Coupling." As a result, when removing the coupling, there is no dripping at all, eliminating the concern of employees getting burned from high-temperature temperature control water dripping. Furthermore, previously it was necessary to pull the sleeve when fitting, but this product can be fitted with a single touch, improving work efficiency.
