Plathome Inc. is a long-established company that, at the time of its founding in 1993, was the first in Japan to import and sell the Linux operating system, which was still in its early stages. In 1996, it launched its first original server under its own brand, and its flagship product, the "OpenBlocks series," has been used by representative companies across various industries for over 20 years. In 2000, it went public on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers market and is currently listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Second Section. With the corporate philosophy of "TECHNOLOGY to serve you," it continues to support the network operations of various industries and companies as a leading open-source OS-related company in Japan.

Plathome Inc. has been supplying its own computers in the fields of communication and networking as a pioneer of Linux microservers and IoT gateways since its founding in 1993. The representative product, the ultra-compact Linux microserver "OpenBlocks series," has been a long-selling product for over 20 years since its release and is adopted in various areas supporting Japan's social infrastructure, including major telecommunications companies, logistics, transportation, finance, energy industries, and government agencies. In the growing field of IoT (Internet of Things), our IoT gateways based on Linux servers have established a major position in the industry.
