Daichi Forge has been struggling with a chronic shortage of young talent, which has hindered the transfer of technology. Otani Machinery Works had to bring loggers to the customer's site after a problem occurred, accumulate data for a certain period, and analyze the data back at their facility. In response, they developed a remote monitoring system. By implementing the remote monitoring system, they achieved the minimization of machine downtime due to mechanical troubles and reduced maintenance costs.
