Vertex's "In-Metal Tag" is a metal-embedded RFID (IC tag). It uses stainless steel for its exterior and the built-in IC tag is also waterproof, allowing for long-term use in outdoor environments exposed to UV rays and rain, as well as in environments where oil and dust may accumulate. Our products are made of stainless steel, so they can be washed without any issues, and even if they fall off, they will be detected by metal detectors. It is covered with stainless steel (SUS316), and the built-in tag is also waterproof, allowing for long-term use in harsh environments such as outdoors or where water, oil, and chemicals may be present. It can be read even when the target object is made of metal, and it can also be embedded in the surface of the object. For machinery, equipment, and tools in environments where barcodes or QR codes are unsuitable and automatic recognition tools cannot be utilized, it enables the standardization of individual identification, which can help address issues such as labor shortages and technology transfer. The tag is read using a dedicated Bluetooth-equipped handheld reader/writer, the "HXB-04 R/W." Additionally, related data linked to the tag can be checked and processed on PC devices such as tablets. It is equipped with Bluetooth for connectivity with PC devices such as smartphones and tablets. Compact and lightweight, it is easy to handle even in high places or tight spaces, and with an environmental performance equivalent to IP65, it can be used outdoors without any issues.
