Last spring, I visited the home of a customer who had a pellet stove installed. I wanted to hear about their experience using it. Everywhere I looked, I saw devastated forests, and I had a desire to contribute to the natural environment in some way. Initially, I considered a "wood stove," but due to the costs and other factors, I had to give up on that idea. Eventually, I heard good things about pellet stoves and decided to visit a showroom. The staff provided clear explanations, including their own experiences with the product, and recommended a stove that would suit my home. I applied for a subsidy and had it installed at the entrance. I waited until autumn to light it. *For more details on the interview, you can view the PDF. Please feel free to contact us for more information.*

Free membership registrationThe owner is in the painting business and had a roof snow melting project done the year before last, installed road heating last year, and this year we installed a pellet stove for them. The whole family came to the exhibition and made their decision on the spot. It has been almost a month since the installation, and we have been checking in on how they are finding it. The Spanish-made "Radian Terica" that was introduced does not get dirty easily, allowing for a consistently beautiful flame to be seen. It has wonderful features such as a cleaning function and six levels of temperature adjustment. *For more details of the interview, you can view the PDF. Free membership registrationI was originally interested in wood stoves, but considering my lifestyle, I gave up due to the difficulty of sourcing firewood. At that time, my wife heard from an acquaintance that "pellet stoves have different advantages compared to firewood," which sparked my interest in this product. The soft warmth is wonderful, and it provides a pleasant warmth no matter where you are in the house, allowing us to spend a comfortable winter. *For detailed content of the interview, you can view it in the PDF. Free membership registrationI decided to try using a pellet stove, which is currently a hot topic, to save on high utility costs and to prepare for a time when oil will no longer be available. I have it set to a room temperature of 20°C, but the perceived temperature feels even higher. It seems that warm air is reaching the third floor from the entrance, which has a high ceiling, as well as the adjacent Japanese-style room. The stove I installed is the Italian-made "Edilkamin," which boasts excellent features such as an ignition and extinguishing timer and energy-saving operation. *For more details about the interview, you can view the PDF. Free membership registrationThe construction company contacted us, saying, "We would like you to plan for a pellet stove in the new house." When I looked at the blueprints, I saw a uniquely shaped building resembling the hiragana character "ku." At the top of this building, a stove is planned. It seems that in their previous home, they had been using a FF-type kerosene fan heater in combination with an air conditioner. However, with the new construction, they decided to adopt a pellet stove upon the recommendation of the design firm. The warm air generated by the stove gently spreads to the second floor, and when they rise to the room after finishing their gathering, they are enveloped in a soft warmth. *For more details of the interview, you can view the PDF. Free membership registrationThe owner had been using a built-in FF fan heater in their living room until now. After many years, it was time to replace it, so they boldly decided to switch to a pellet stove. The owner, who had longed for a heating system where they could see the flames, considered both wood stoves and pellet stoves with their family. They visited the showroom several times and ultimately decided on the pellet stove. *For detailed interview content, please refer to the PDF. For more information, feel free to contact us.*

Free membership registrationWe received a consultation from the construction company saying, 'I want to place a pellet stove in the entrance and warm the living room on the second floor,' and after consideration, we decided to naturally let the warm air rise from the stairs. We chose a pellet stove because the running costs were not much different from kerosene. I didn't want to place kerosene stoves in each room, so we decided to heat the entire house with just one unit. Free membership registrationHere is a case study of floor heating using a hot water pellet stove (EDILKAMIN IDROSALLY) in Hakuba Village, Nagano Prefecture. Typically, conventional pellet stoves provide heating through infrared radiation or convection heating with warm air. However, hot water pellet stoves can achieve "whole-house heating" by connecting heated water to panel heaters or floor heating systems, allowing for uniform heating over a wide area. This combination is particularly satisfying in rooms with high ceilings, as heating the floor provides a consistent warmth from head to toe. Additionally, since this location is at an altitude of 800 meters where oxygen levels are lower, adjustments were made regarding the ignition timing. [Case Overview] ■ Whole-house heating ■ Hot water pellet stove (EDILKAMIN IDROSALLY) ■ Floor heating *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case of hybrid heating using a hot water pellet stove (EDILKAMIN IDROSALLY) in Murakami City, Niigata Prefecture. A customer who was using panel heaters for whole-house heating requested, "During the day, I want to enjoy the flames of the pellet stove while heating powerfully, and at night, I want to maintain low temperatures with the existing kerosene boiler." To ensure that the customer does not have to perform complex valve operations during the switch between the pellet side and the kerosene side hot water piping, we combined check valves and a sealed expansion tank, after meticulously planning the modifications in advance. As a result, it became possible to switch between the two heat sources without changing valves. [Case Overview] ■ Whole-house heating ■ Hot water pellet stove (EDILKAMIN IDROSALLY) ■ Hybrid heat source (Pellet: Kerosene) ■ Panel heaters *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe carried out snow melting equipment construction for unmanned management facilities within Niigata Prefecture. The work targeted vehicle parking spaces, internal work pathways, and stair areas. Due to the difficulty of regular fuel supply at unmanned facilities, the construction involved the installation of snow melting mats with built-in electric heaters. The total output of the snow melting mats is 15.6 kW (single-phase 200V specification, with 100V specification in some locations). The on/off control is based on the amount of snowfall detected by a laser light sensor, activating when the outside temperature is below 2°C and the snowfall exceeds 5 cm, and deactivating when the snowfall decreases to below 3 cm. With a communication network connection, remote monitoring and control from outside are possible, and even if the sensor malfunctions, it can be forcibly activated or deactivated. During trial operation adjustments, we recorded the heating situation from above, and the overall heating condition was found to be good.

Free membership registrationThis time, we would like to introduce Niigata Sanrin in Tokamachi City. With the rebuilding of their office building, we implemented snow melting for the roof and pavement. Tokamachi City is one of the snowiest areas in the country, with a maximum snow depth of 210 cm in February. Sanrin is a fuel supply company, and tank trucks come and go at the fueling station multiple times a day. Since it would be impossible for employees to clear the snow every time, we installed pavement snow melting and roof snow melting for both the office building and the fueling station canopy, eliminating the need for manual snow removal. Sanrin sells both kerosene and propane gas, but this time we used a gas-fired boiler powered by propane gas, which has a relatively low environmental impact, for the hot water circulation system. Compared to the surrounding snow accumulation, both the roof and pavement are beautifully cleared of snow. We are here to assist with any snow-related issues for both new and existing homes.

Free membership registrationJōkamachi City is a town with a population of about 50,000, located near Nagano Prefecture, where the deepest snow accumulation in February is 210 cm (1991-2020). When trying to cope with this using electric heater-type snow melting, a large energy requirement of 300 to 350 W per square meter is needed. Therefore, even for a house of about 30 tsubo (approximately 100 square meters), a 30 kW class system is necessary, and in both heavy and light snowfall years, the basic fee will be a burden according to the equipment capacity. In contrast, a hot water circulation system using a boiler or similar as a heat source can freely adjust the output through temperature control, making it more cost-effective for fuel in light snowfall years, which is suitable for heavy snowfall areas. This time, since we are also renovating the roof, we concealed the snow melting panels beneath the metal sheeting. The roof surface warms uniformly, allowing the snow to melt evenly and cleanly. Mr. N himself is the president of a construction company and has been responsible for road snow removal in the area during the winter months, which has meant that the snow at his own home has always been put off until last. Due to this background, he decided to take the plunge and install a roof snow melting system this time. We are here to assist with snow-related issues for both new and existing homes.

Free membership registrationWe received a consultation from Mr. Y in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, regarding "icicles falling from the north side of the large roof onto the neighboring house." Nagaoka City is the second largest city in Niigata Prefecture, with a population of about 280,000. The maximum snow depth in February is 77 cm (from 1991 to 2020). Looking at the surrounding scenery, there is quite a significant amount of snowfall. Initially, we considered a hot water circulation system, but since the area of concern was only the north side and it was just a part of the roof, we opted for a lightweight electric heating net system. The electric heating net is suitable for preventing icicles, is lightweight, and can be retrofitted to existing buildings. Even in the thermal imaging footage, only the areas with the net are melting like a pond. We also combined it with an automatic snow detection sensor that operates during the night or when going out. "We are really glad that we no longer have to worry about icicles and snow causing trouble for our neighbors starting this year!" was the joyful feedback we received. We are truly happy that our customer has been freed from their snow-related troubles. Whether for new homes or existing ones, we are here to help with any snow-related issues.

Free membership registration"Apple and Okamachi" was built as a complex facility in Tokamachi City, Niigata Prefecture, one of Japan's premier heavy snowfall areas, where three generations—children, child-rearing families, and the elderly—can interact. The snowfall in Tokamachi City sometimes exceeds 2 meters, and in consideration of users, particularly the elderly and those with children, who require convenient transportation, we have installed a hot water circulation road heating system (snow melting on the road surface) from the main road to the piloti and in the parking spaces. In today's labor shortage, it is increasingly difficult to secure snow removal personnel during the winter months, even when job openings are posted. Many facility managers are likely struggling with this issue. We are here to provide consultation on snow-related problems, not only for newly constructed facilities but also for existing ones.

Free membership registrationYohira Onsen in Niigata Prefecture is a quiet hot spring area nestled in the mountains, surrounded by rich nature and streams, located southeast of Echigo Nagaoka. Affectionately known as the "hidden retreat of Nagaoka," it exudes a charming atmosphere with fresh greenery in summer, autumn leaves in fall, and snowy landscapes in winter. Izumiya has had snow melting equipment installed for some time, but at Yohira Onsen, which is close to the former Yamakoshi Village in Nagaoka City, there were some areas where the melting was not satisfactory. Therefore, we carried out roof metal sheeting replacement and renovations to the snow melting equipment alongside the exterior wall painting renovation. After changing the heat dissipation surface to original aluminum heat dissipation panels and thick copper pipes, we received feedback saying, "It melts significantly better than before, and fuel efficiency has also improved." Using an oil-fired boiler as the heat source and antifreeze as the circulating liquid, the hot water circulation type snow melting system melts snow over an area of approximately 600 square meters without water sprinkling.

Free membership registrationI tried operating the "standard snow melting controller" from North Vietnam's snow melting system. After turning on the power, it enters a standby state for operation ("automatic" and "stop") after a short while, monitoring for snowfall. The LED for the "sensor" blinks every time a snowflake passes in front of it. If the "sensor" blinks multiple times within the specified time, it detects a "continuous snowfall state," and the "snow melting operation" is turned ON, starting the operation of the "circulation pump" and "heat source equipment." This time, the snowfall was light, but I intentionally set the "sensitivity adjustment" knob to maximum to enter "operation mode" earlier. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where the installation of an after-the-fact snow melting system has resolved a long-standing issue. Mr. Y, who lives just 2-3 minutes away from our company, contacted us last summer with a consultation about making his hand-dug roof, which had been a source of trouble due to snow eaves, safer. Since it was a snow-covered roof, we melted the snow only on the dangerous outer perimeter using exposed stainless steel piping, and we were delighted to receive an email with photos from him expressing his happiness that it melted just as he had hoped. There is nothing more rewarding than being able to bring a customer's idea to life and seeing their joy. This marks the beginning of a long relationship. Free membership registrationWhen people start to worry about the snow on their roofs, some customers say things like, "It's a waste of fuel..." or "I still have confidence in my physical strength..." and despite having snow melting devices, they attempt to clear the snow themselves. Snow is something we have been familiar with since childhood, and we know our own homes better than anyone else, but I sincerely hope everyone will be very careful to avoid accidents. In the related links, we are sharing a warning email that was distributed to citizens by the city of Tokamachi. I hope you find it helpful. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationIn North Vietnam's snowmelt, we have several users who run stores to ensure that customers who have had stoves installed can purchase pellet fuel nearby. This time, we visited the pellet retailer "Kamimori Shita" in Uonuma City for fuel delivery. We have been working with them since 2018, entering our fifth season. It seems that many people, including those who did not have their stoves installed by us, come to visit. This time, we have 160 bags, so we parked a 2-ton truck next to the warehouse behind the building, which serves as a storage facility, and pulled a cart for horizontal movement close to the storage area. The regular days off are Sunday and Monday, so please stop by on other days to make your purchase. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationOur customers include those who are residing in facilities, families living far away who manage their family homes, and those using their homes as second houses, leading to an increasing number of homes that are often unoccupied each year. In snowy regions, "snow removal" is essential for managing a house. If the necessary conditions are met, it is possible to continue using snow melting devices even while living far away. For example, "1. Conduct an annual inspection of the snow melting device." "2. Have someone nearby to manage the house keys." "3. Rely on an oil delivery service for supply." (This is just one example.) Please feel free to contact us when you need our services. For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to reach out to us.

Free membership registrationIn snowy regions, various facilities are in operation to maintain daily life even when it is snowing. For example, there is a "snow-melting pipe" that sprays groundwater onto the roads through nozzles to eliminate snow. Thanks to this facility, vehicle traffic can flow smoothly. When viewed with a thermal camera, it is clear that the water has heat. Compared to the outside temperature, the ground below is warm, so the groundwater, which holds that heat, is also warm. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Free membership registrationWhen it comes to snow management in snowy regions, many people think of "sprinkler snow melting," which uses groundwater to melt snow, or "snow melting pipes." However, our specialty is "non-sprinkler snow melting," which can be implemented even in areas where groundwater is difficult to obtain. In the past, the overwhelming majority of heat sources were boilers that burned kerosene or gas, but in the last decade, a new force has emerged: snow melting using "heat pumps" that generate hot water using electricity. Under good conditions, these systems can produce hot water with about four times the energy compared to the electricity consumed, resulting in lower environmental impact and energy savings. For those who would like to see a demonstration of the actual equipment, we have it operating daily in our parking lot on National Route 117, so please feel free to stop by. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.*

Free membership registrationMany people use wood stoves for their beautiful flames and powerful heating capabilities. However, it seems that as time goes on, some people find the seasonal tasks of gathering and preparing firewood, which they once enjoyed in their youth, becoming increasingly burdensome. Air conditioners and electric heaters are far from providing the warmth that penetrates to the core of the body, and with the relentless rise in electricity prices, there are concerns. While kerosene stoves and gas fan heaters may provide warmth, they take away the joy of watching the flames... but here’s some good news for you. You may be able to connect a pellet stove exhaust pipe using the existing chimney of your wood stove. With a pellet stove, you don’t have to give up the warmth from the infrared heat directly from the flames or its powerful heating capabilities. Additionally, pellet fuel can be reliably purchased at nearby home centers or stove retailers, freeing you from the hassle of making your own fuel. Please feel free to consult with us. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Free membership registrationThe increase in energy demand due to economic recovery from the spread of the novel coronavirus, irregular weather and disasters, as well as the Russian invasion of Ukraine since February 2022, has disrupted the balance between energy demand and supply, leading to high energy prices. In Japan, over 70% of the power generation mix is from thermal power, and the fuel for this is largely dependent on imports from overseas. In the related links, we provide detailed information about the increasingly popular "pellet stoves" and "pellets." Our company began handling pellet stoves in 2011, initially selling only a few units per year while receiving technical guidance from domestic manufacturers. However, from 2014, we started importing and selling stoves from the Italian company EDILKAMIN, and from 2018, we began importing stoves from the Belgian company Stuv. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
