Tamagawa Industries was founded in 1924 (Taisho 13). We have a consistent manufacturing facility that spans from the firing of raw stone (salt firing) to the final product, and our core technology focuses on the application of lime resources that can be self-supplied in Japan and the development of plaster techniques. We were the first in Japan to develop and sell pre-mixed plaster, which has been adopted in various castles and important cultural properties across the country, starting with Osaka Castle. Plaster is an eco-friendly material that originally combines lime, which has no environmental burden, with natural materials such as seaweed and plant fibers. When applied in construction, it exhibits excellent properties such as humidity control, deodorization, antibacterial effects, and fire resistance. Therefore, it adsorbs VOCs that can cause sick house syndrome, improving indoor air quality and enhancing sanitary conditions. Our company is committed to the usefulness of this plaster and, while considering the reduction of environmental impact, we will contribute to health and welfare through various proposals for living environments.
