iTOMIC Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Sumida-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Hirofumi Moriya) will open the iTOMIC LABO, a research and development facility with a showroom where the latest electric water heating equipment can be demonstrated and experienced, in October 2024. At iTOMIC, we have focused on electric water heating, providing products and services based on safety and security, and have been dedicated to developing unique technologies and improving product performance. We are committed to the electrification of water heating and expanding empathy towards a sustainable society. To contribute to the realization of a low-carbon society, we will open the iTOMIC LABO, a new research and development facility, in Sumida-ku, known as the "town of manufacturing." (Headquarters: Sumida-ku, Tokyo, President: Hirofumi Moriya) announced on April 27, 2021, its participation in the "Climate Change Initiative," agreeing to "join the forefront of the world in the pursuit of decarbonization." The "Climate Change Initiative" is a loose network of various entities, including companies, local governments, organizations, and NGOs, that actively engage in climate change measures, excluding national governments. In the United States, businesses, state governments, and municipalities have formed a network called "We Are Still In," which continues to work on strengthening climate change measures even after the Trump administration's announcement to withdraw from the Paris Agreement. Following this initiative in the U.S., movements to create cross-sectoral organizations of diverse actors outside of national governments have begun in other countries as well. The "Climate Change Initiative" aims to collaborate with these international movements.
