Even if the device's battery runs out, the Power Reserve feature allows it to be used as a room key for up to 5 hours. The Apple Wallet Key fully utilizes the security features built into the iPhone and Apple Watch. Even if a guest loses their iPhone or Apple Watch, they can use the "Find My" app to lock the device, locate it, and even temporarily suspend or remotely erase the room key.
