Next-generation seismic reinforcement method "JSPAC Method"

With a new philosophy aimed at the next generation, seismic construction methods are entering a new realm.

The "JSPAC method" is a next-generation seismic reinforcement technique that allows construction to be carried out while occupants remain in the building, without compromising its appearance, and enhances the building's strength and resilience. It enables seismic construction while continuing business operations and offers seismic reinforcement without changing usability, making it adaptable to a wide range of industries and various conditions and situations. By allowing construction to take place while occupants remain, it eliminates the need for relocation or alternative facilities, shortens construction periods, and significantly reduces CO2 emissions compared to demolishing and rebuilding existing structures. Please feel free to contact us if you have any inquiries. 【Benefits】 ■ Construction while occupied ■ High versatility ■ Minimal impact on building design ■ Maximum seismic resistance with minimal construction ■ Low cost & CO2 reduction *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Lift-up horizontal rotation construction method

It is possible to install bridge piers under strict construction restrictions such as upper limits, lateral limits, and front limits.

The "Lift-Up Horizontal Rotation Construction Method" involves lifting up the pier and beam section, and then rotating it horizontally after connecting it to the columns. This method allows for the installation of piers under elevated bridges in construction conditions where there are strict limitations above, to the sides, and in front, such as those found in areas squeezed between roads. Please feel free to contact us if you have any inquiries. 【Features】 ■ Construction can be done with low noise ■ Significant reduction in traffic restrictions ■ Reduction of high-altitude work is possible ■ Shortening of construction period is possible *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Case] Solcomat Method Butt Reinforcement Method <Example of Typhoon No. 19 in Reiwa Year 1>

We propose a method for reinforcing river levees as a crisis management hard measure! Case study from Typhoon No. 19.

We would like to introduce a case where the effectiveness of crisis management-type hard measures for levee toe reinforcement was confirmed. In the Arakawa River system, at a location where crisis management-type hard measures were implemented due to Typhoon No. 19, overflow occurred (with a water depth of about 25 cm during the overflow), but there was a case where the levee did not breach. The "Solcomat toe reinforcement method" proposed by our company can be used for crisis management-type hard measures. 【Proposed Construction Method】 ■ Solcomat Toe Reinforcement Method - Extends the time until river levee destruction during overflow at a water depth of 20 cm - Highly effective in reducing the depth of scour directly beneath the levee foundation - This content has been reported at the Soil Mechanics Society research presentation *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Hyogo Construction Case Study: Railway Proximity Work - Reinforcement and Elevation of Existing Protective Fences

A case of railway proximity work where reinforcement and elevation of the existing protective fence were carried out!

Here is a case study of the "Stronger Method" implemented in Hyogo Prefecture. As a result of the construction, the fence height increased from 1.55m to 3.0m, with a construction length of L = 13.0m. This method distributes the load, which was previously supported by a single span in conventional methods, across multiple spans by connecting the tops of the posts with steel rods. Additionally, in areas where there are concerns about insufficient fence height, height-raising materials can be used to increase the fence height. [Case Study] ■ Height-raising reinforcement type (Fence height: H = 1.55 → 3.0m, Construction length: L = 13.0m) ■ Hyogo Prefecture (Construction: FY 2015, Railway proximity work) *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Ground Corrosion Prevention: Electric Anti-Corrosion Device 'Pole Keeper'

For road lighting poles, safety fence posts, bicycle parking shelter posts, etc.! Prevent corrosion of the steel post foundation (ground level) using the sacrificial anode function of zinc.

The "Pole Keeper" is a closed-circuit type of cathodic protection device that prevents corrosion by using zinc alloy anodes and flexible zinc anodes to inhibit the formation of macro cells. By installing a zinc alloy anode (metal guard ring) around the support and filling the inside with a flexible zinc anode (metal guard solid), it has a composite structure that combines coating corrosion protection and cathodic protection functions. During dry conditions, it prevents corrosion caused by micro cells through its coating corrosion protection function, and when in a wet state, it supplies cathodic protection current to prevent the formation of macro cells, thereby protecting the steel material with dual corrosion prevention functions. 【Installation Examples】 ■ Road lighting pole (150φ) ■ Road lighting pole (216φ) ■ Fence post ■ Safety fence post ■ Bicycle parking roof post ■ Apartment balcony post ■ Pier safety fence post ■ Movable bridge safety fence post ■ Fall prevention fence post *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Environmentally friendly new ground reinforcement "GRR Sheet Method"

Measures can be implemented in narrow spaces! A new ground reinforcement method that does not use special machinery.

The "GRR Sheet Method" is a ground reinforcement technique that involves laying "geotextiles" within a crushed stone base of a specified thickness. By utilizing the "rigidity reinforcement effect near the surface due to the crushed stone base" and the "deformation confinement effect of the crushed stone layer provided by the sheet," it is possible to reduce differential settlement and maintain stable structures over time. 【Features】 ◆ All processes are visually observable, ensuring reliable construction management ◆ No curing period is required, allowing for reduced construction time ◆ Can be implemented in narrow spaces as it does not require special dedicated construction machinery 【For more details, please feel free to contact us】

Case Studies of Slope Stabilization Methods for Road Embankments: Shortening Construction Periods and Environmental Considerations

This is a slope stabilization method that allows for a shortened construction period and can be implemented in small spaces. We will introduce examples adopted for road embankments.

【Features】 ○ An environmentally friendly ground reinforcement method that allows for forest protection, landscape preservation, and greening of slopes. 〇 No large machinery required; can be constructed in narrow sites using lightweight materials. ○ Compared to conventional methods that use retaining walls and rebar insertion, it can reduce costs and shorten construction periods. 〇 Applicable even on cut slopes and collapsed slopes when used in conjunction with slope protection methods such as wire mesh and vegetation mats. ○ Registered with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism NETIS registration number KK-010068-V (published until April 2017). In road slope applications, it allows for early traffic opening compared to conventional methods and can be constructed in small spaces, making it a preferred choice. In areas where landscape consideration is necessary, such as tourist spots, it can also be made less noticeable with colored specifications. ◆ A collection of case studies can be downloaded for free from the link below! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us!◆
