The U-shaped floor plan is designed to avoid the existing gymnasium and takes into account the impact of rain and snow on the building throughout the year in the Hokuriku climate. Proposal for seismic-resistant structure! The result is a frame structure, planned as a building with four columns.

We would like to introduce an example of the integrated structural calculation software 'Super Build/SS7' used for a 10-story above-ground and 1-story underground office building made of steel. Due to the constraints of the site shape, the floor plan was designed with a main structure that bears seismic forces measuring 6.5m x 10.7m, with a staircase and other structures that do not bear seismic forces measuring 2.7m x 5.5m attached to it. This project involves a two-story steel structure with a gable roof, where the key design points are how to handle wind pressure on the large beams spanning both sides of the atrium and how to address buckling.
