We conducted an evaluation test to determine whether cavitation, which generates microbubbles, actually occurs in our micro-bubble product. A transparent sample was created based on our product. The testing period was from May 1, 2018, to March 31, 2019. As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that cavitation occurs solely from the pressure of standard tap water, and that approximately 2% of the air contained in the tap water is being converted into micro-nanobubbles. The red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" is recognized as the only method for prolonging the life of air conditioning pipes by preventing red rust deterioration, capable of protecting important exhibits.

The "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed on the secondary side of the main hot water piping pump in the boiler room located in Area F of the British Museum. Before installation, the amount of red rust in the air conditioning hot water was significantly advanced, measuring 20 mg per liter. After five weeks of installation, the amount of red rust in the water decreased to 0.2 mg per liter, a reduction to one-hundredth, demonstrating the effectiveness of preventing red rust through its black rust transformation. As a result, the British Museum was able to not only avoid damage and the risk of water leaks caused by red rust but also reduce the risk of red rust affecting future exhibits. Due to the high risk of damaging exhibits, construction work such as replacing piping facilities could not be carried out, and the use of anti-rust agents would adversely affect the condition of the paintings. Therefore, the NMR Pipe Protector was the only method that the museum could adopt. Furthermore, in 2019, the Raman spectroscopy measurement method was included in the seventeenth revision of the Japanese Pharmacopoeia, second supplement, increasing expectations for Raman spectroscopy. It has become a widely used analytical method, ranging from the evaluation of the crystal forms of active pharmaceutical ingredients and research and development of crystallization reactions to quality control such as the assessment of content uniformity of active ingredients in formulations and raw material acceptance testing. As its use has expanded, issues have also emerged, such as the spectral tilting of substances with fluorescence, including cellulose and herbal raw materials. In recent years, cases of counterfeit pharmaceuticals have come to light, raising questions about the scientific validation of testing methods and the minimization of human errors in pharmaceutical quality control. Therefore, using crystalline cellulose with fluorescence as a model raw material, we report the results of constructing a discrimination model using a portable Raman spectrometer and scientifically validating the variability of the discrimination model and test results.

The Yokohama City Waterworks Bureau has verified that there is no rust prevention effect in areas with low water usage.

The Yokohama City Waterworks Bureau has verified that the red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" does not demonstrate rust prevention effects when the water usage is below the specified level.

The Yokohama City Waterworks Bureau conducted tests to confirm the effectiveness of rust prevention and residual chlorine reduction in the Tsurumi Public Housing water supply pipe (first test) and the verification of residual chlorine reduction in the water distribution pipes (main water pipes) (second test). Based on these tests, they selected residential areas with a low number of water contracts and low water usage to determine how little water usage is acceptable for the application of the NMR Pipe Protector. In March 2016, they used a 50A water branch pipe and chose the Teramae 2-chome area and the Konan Chuo area, which have a small number of households, to conduct tests on the rust prevention and residual chlorine reduction effects of the NMR Pipe Protector. The guideline for demonstrating the rust prevention effect of the 50A piping requires a daily water usage of about 15 tons, which is needed for approximately 30 households. In contrast, in the Teramae 2-chome area, there are only 18 households downstream of the sampling location, while in the Konan Chuo area, there are only 3 households downstream of the sampling location. In both areas, the minimum water usage required for the NMR Pipe Protector to function effectively could not be secured, and therefore, its effects were not clearly observed. It was determined that the application of the NMR Pipe Protector in the Teramae 2-chome area and the Konan Chuo area was unsuitable, and the verification of the rust prevention effect of the NMR Pipe Protector, along with the associated residual chlorine reduction effect, was concluded as there were no suitable locations for the NMR Pipe Protector in areas other than these two.

Verification of rust prevention effects in air conditioning piping at the University of Cambridge in the UK.

Completely prevent the deterioration of red rust in the air conditioning piping at Cambridge University! Red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector."

At Cambridge University, galvanized steel pipes (SGP), which are said to have a lifespan of about 20 years due to red rust, were used for the hot water piping system. As a result, they were severely troubled by the deterioration caused by red rust, until the introduction of the "NMR Pipe Protector." Before installation, the iron content in the circulating water flowing through the pipes, due to the leaching of red rust, was measured at 43.8 mg/l, indicating a very high level due to red rust. However, just three weeks after installation, inspections showed that the iron content had decreased to less than half, at 18.0 mg/l. Furthermore, a follow-up inspection about a year after installation revealed that the iron content in the same hot water had decreased to 0.5 mg/l, completely preventing red rust and successfully reducing the iron content to about 1/100 of the level before installation. This is a sufficient value to indicate that the corrosion from red rust has stopped and that black rust formation has progressed. For comparison, the water quality standard set by the Japan Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association is an iron content of 1.0 mg/l. The result of 0.5 mg/l at Cambridge University is half of that standard, confirming the effectiveness of red rust prevention. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
