Salt-resistant and heavy salt-resistant outdoor units use aluminum fins coated with a polymer known as pre-coat, which protects the aluminum from salt damage and other hazards. However, while the thickness of the Polyual membrane is 20 to 25 micrometers, the pre-coat is only about 2 to 3 micrometers thick. After 3 to 5 years of exposure to salt damage, rust can occur, and the pre-coat membrane may disappear due to ultraviolet rays. Additionally, since the pre-coat involves processing aluminum sheets coated with polymer, the cut surfaces, internal cutouts, and contact points with copper pipes are exposed to the outside air, becoming entry points for salt damage and corrosion. The aluminum fin deterioration prevention coating "Polyual" addresses these issues.
