3.11 Introduction of our activities during the Great East Japan Earthquake and future challenges.

Our company conducted support activities for the recovery of Iwate Prefecture for about three months starting from March 23, at the request of the Cabinet Office immediately after the Great East Japan Earthquake. We provided assistance in delivering kerosene, light oil, and heavy oil fuel to coastal municipalities in Iwate Prefecture, as well as fuel delivery support for large corporations, including kerosene, light oil, heavy oil, and gasoline, along with other recovery support activities. We received a letter of appreciation for our recovery support, and the local community expressed their deep gratitude for our assistance. In the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake, we provided fuel supply and delivered relief supplies.

Our company dispatched disaster response staff to the site on the 16th at the request of Kumamoto Prefecture. We delivered fuel using our own tank trucks to designated public institutions, major telecommunications carriers, and major broadcasting stations in Kumamoto City, and continued our activities thereafter. Furthermore, on the 20th, we received a request for cooperation regarding fuel supply from Kumamoto Prefecture and Kyushu Electric Power. Starting from midnight on the same day, we provided fuel for generator trucks based in Aso City, Kumamoto Prefecture, and continued our work until power was restored. We received words of gratitude from Kyushu Electric Power, stating, "We hope to continue relying on Shuwa's mobility for fuel supply," and we were awarded a letter of appreciation dated June 13. On April 14, 2016 (Thursday), we conducted fuel supply and delivery of relief supplies in response to the Kumamoto Earthquake, which originated in the Kumamoto region of Kumamoto Prefecture. We dispatched disaster response staff to the site and delivered fuel using our own tank trucks to designated public institutions, major telecommunications carriers, and major broadcasting stations in Kumamoto City, continuing our activities thereafter.
