[Achievements] Kumamoto Earthquake

The Shuwa Group will mobilize the entire company to support Kumamoto.

On April 14, 2016 (Thursday), we conducted fuel supply and delivery of relief supplies in response to the Kumamoto Earthquake, which originated in the Kumamoto region of Kumamoto Prefecture. We dispatched disaster response staff to the site and delivered fuel using our own tank trucks to designated public institutions, major telecommunications carriers, and major broadcasting stations in Kumamoto City, continuing our activities thereafter. Furthermore, on the 20th, we received a request for cooperation regarding fuel supply from Kumamoto Prefecture and Kyushu Electric Power, and starting from midnight on the same day, we provided fuel for generator trucks based in Aso City, Kumamoto Prefecture, continuing the work until power was restored. 【Kumamoto Earthquake Support Response Status (Excerpt)】 - Fueling operations with 3 vehicles and 3 personnel at the Ichinomiya base, with 3 vehicles and 3 personnel on standby. - Fueling operations with 2 vehicles and 2 personnel at the Takamori base, with 2 vehicles and 2 personnel on standby. - A total of 10 vehicles and 10 personnel were deployed for the delivery of light oil to generator trucks. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.
