Polyurea coatings possess extremely high wear resistance and impact resistance. Since polyurea coating is applied through spray painting, the surface condition of the painted area will be the final finish. However, due to the thickness and strength of the film, it is also possible to perform machining in subsequent processes. Adjustments to film thickness through flat grinding or drilling can also be done. The image shows a sample that has been flat ground after painting (the cream-colored part of the surface is the polyurea coating). Purpose: to achieve uniform film thickness.
