We would like to introduce a case where our seismic-resistant water storage tank, which also serves as a drinking water supply, was installed as an emergency water supply tank in Yoshida Town, Haibara District, Shizuoka Prefecture. Yoshida Town is one of the leading eel farming areas in Japan, thanks to its abundant groundwater. The abundance of groundwater poses challenges in processing this water when installing a seismic-resistant water storage tank. In the case of typical horizontal tanks, the construction yard is large, and the spring water treatment becomes extensive, leading to significant cost concerns. We would like to introduce a case where our seismic-resistant water storage tank, which also serves as a drinking water supply, was installed as an emergency water supply tank in Higashimatsuyama City, Saitama Prefecture. During the construction at the west exit of Higashimatsuyama Station in fiscal year 2008, and at the east exit of the same station in fiscal year 2009, it was important to minimize the required area during construction. Therefore, our vertical cylindrical product, which does not require a long opening, was adopted using our caisson method. We planned the construction with safety considerations to avoid impacting the water distribution pipes and to ensure that it would not obstruct the passage of citizens. We would like to introduce a case where our seismic-resistant water storage tank for drinking water was installed as an emergency water supply tank in Kikugawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture. In Kikugawa City, there are a total of 7 seismic-resistant water storage tanks for drinking water that have been installed, of which 5 are manufactured by our company. The installation locations are mostly parking lots of elementary and junior high schools, which is one reason for selecting our products, as it minimizes the impact on school events during the construction period. This is a case study of our ground-mounted seismic-resistant water storage tank and fire water tank, the 'BUG type,' installed in a vacation home area in Yamanashi Prefecture. The real estate developer that developed this vacation home area went bankrupt, and there was no company to take over, so currently, neither the prefecture nor the city has management responsibility, and there is no caretaker present. This project was advanced by appointing a representative from within the vacation homes and consulting with the city, leading to the installation. Local residents expressed concerns that the narrow road width and the presence of construction vehicles would be undesirable, voicing a desire to "shorten the construction period and avoid ground excavation." In conjunction with the establishment of a new factory for the private business, the local fire department instructed that fire water supply be secured. After comparing with underground buried types from other companies, the advantages in total cost and shortened construction period were decisive factors for its adoption. The paint color was selected to match the exterior color of the welfare facility. During the expansion of an existing private sector precision parts manufacturing factory, instructions were received from the local fire department regarding the need for additional fire water supply and a review of the layout due to the application of the Fire Service Act. The layout was considered with respect to the distance between the existing and newly constructed buildings and the fire water tank, and it was required that the tank be positioned so as not to affect the building's foundation. The decision to adopt an above-ground type was made due to the limited space available for civil engineering work. This is an introduction to the installation of our above-ground seismic-resistant water storage tank and fire water tank, the 'BUG type', at a large advanced logistics facility in Osaka Prefecture. During the construction of the large-scale logistics facility, the need for fire-fighting water supply was considered. The installation site was on reclaimed land, and it was determined that installing an underground fire water tank through excavation work would be difficult, leading to the adoption of the above-ground type. After assessing the required water volume, a total of 16 units were installed.
