This is a case study of our ground-mounted seismic-resistant water storage tank and fire water tank, the 'BUG type,' installed at a welfare facility of a private business in Ibaraki Prefecture. In conjunction with the establishment of a new factory for the private business, the local fire department instructed that fire water supply be secured. After comparing with underground buried types from other companies, the advantages in total cost and shortened construction period were decisive factors for its adoption. The paint color was selected to match the exterior color of the welfare facility.
