We would like to introduce a case where our seismic-resistant water storage tank for drinking water was installed as an emergency water supply tank in Kikugawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture. In Kikugawa City, there are a total of 7 seismic-resistant water storage tanks for drinking water that have been installed, of which 5 are manufactured by our company. The installation locations are mostly parking lots of elementary and junior high schools, which is one reason for selecting our products, as it minimizes the impact on school events during the construction period. The seismic resistance is sufficient as it is certified by the Japan Fire Equipment Safety Center. However, in Kikukawa City, to ensure a reliable supply of drinking water during disasters, a plan for regular maintenance inspections of seven seismic-resistant water tanks for drinking water use is in place.
