This is a case study of our ground-mounted seismic-resistant water storage tank and fire water tank, the 'BUG type,' installed in a vacation home area in Yamanashi Prefecture. The real estate developer that developed this vacation home area went bankrupt, and there was no company to take over, so currently, neither the prefecture nor the city has management responsibility, and there is no caretaker present. This project was advanced by appointing a representative from within the vacation homes and consulting with the city, leading to the installation. Local residents expressed concerns that the narrow road width and the presence of construction vehicles would be undesirable, voicing a desire to "shorten the construction period and avoid ground excavation."
