Measures Against Red Water from Tap Water [Electromagnetic Water Treatment Device Vol. 2]

Introducing a case study of the installation of the electromagnetic water treatment device Hydroflow in a condominium that has reached its 26th year since completion!

We would like to introduce a technical case where an electromagnetic water treatment device, "Hydroflow," was installed in a certain condominium in Miyamae Ward, Kawasaki City. This condominium has reached its 26th year since completion, and during the removal of the water supply pipe three years ago, rust was confirmed due to imperfect insulation at the joints of the lining pipe. The management company proposed a budget of ¥6,000,000 for the rehabilitation work of the water supply pipes using a resin lining method (including inside each unit), with a construction period of 2 to 3 days. After three years of investigation, the management association decided to install this new product from the UK, which requires no construction or maintenance, and placed an order. 【Case Overview】 ■ Test Period: April 26, 2013 (26 years after completion) ■ Location: A certain condominium in Miyamae Ward, Kawasaki City (18 units) ■ Target Device - An electromagnetic water treatment device, Hydroflow, made in the UK, was installed on the outer diameter of the main water supply pipe (40A). Corrosion prevention effects for general household use [Electromagnetic Water Treatment Device Vol. 1]

The corrosion rate during processing is reduced to about 1/10 compared to when it is unprocessed over a period of two years! We present the results of the water supply and corrosion tests.

The office building has separate water supply meters for the 1st and 2nd floors, and the toilet flushing water consistently contained about 0.7 mg/L of chlorine from the potable water. To measure the reduction in corrosion due to rust, the amount of deposits on iron pieces was measured, resulting in 0.2 g on the treated side and 1.9 g on the untreated side, leading to a corrosion reduction of 0.2 ÷ 1.9 = 0.105 (10.5%). Compared to the untreated state, the corrosion rate decreased to about 1/10 over two years during treatment. 【Case Overview】 ■ Test Period: September 9, 2009 – September 9, 2011 (2 years) ■ Location: Office building in Setagaya, Tokyo (toilet tanks on the 1st and 2nd floors) ■ Equipment: Electromagnetic water treatment device Hydroflow HS38 (made in the UK) with a power consumption of 2W *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Demonstration Test of Scale Prevention Effect [Electromagnetic Water Treatment Device Vol. 1]

What is the change in crystal structure? An experiment was conducted by filling a 10L flask of the distilled water purification device with regular tap water.

We would like to present the results of an experiment conducted at the Royal Military Academy in the UK, using the electromagnetic water treatment device "Hydroflow." The method involved filling a 10L flask of a distillation water purification device with regular tap water. The water was boiled using an electric heater, and the steam was condensed to produce distilled water (pure water), with the treatment conducted in two phases: treated and untreated. The results of this test clearly indicate that Hydroflow affects the size of calcium carbonate scale crystals, revealing that larger crystals grow in water and precipitate in a short time. 【Summary of the Case】 ■ Purpose: Demonstration test of scale adhesion prevention effect ■ Device Name: Hydroflow HS38 model (for general household use, for 10-25A pipes) ■ Implementation Period: January to April 1995 (4 months) ■ Location: Royal Military Academy, UK *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Scale prevention measures for dishwashers in the UK.

We will introduce a case where white calcium has not adhered even after 16 years of use!

In 1970, a "Polar PD-15 (commonly known as Compact-1)" was installed on the water supply pipe above the faucet under the kitchen sink of Mr. Lynch's house in the UK, using a full-flow water treatment method to combat scale in the dishwasher. It has been in use for 16 years, and there has been absolutely no scale buildup, with no white calcium deposits anywhere. When compared to the dishwasher of a neighbor 20 meters away who does not have a Polar installed, the neighbor's dishwasher had scale removed in 1989, but two months later, scale reappeared on the device's floor, elements, and filter screen, resulting in a terrible condition. [Measures and Effects] - A "Polar PD-15" was installed on the water supply pipe above the faucet under the kitchen sink using a full-flow water treatment method to combat scale in the dishwasher. - The dishwasher has been in use for 16 years, and there has been absolutely no scale buildup, with no white calcium deposits anywhere. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Results of hard water scale prevention measures at a beauty salon in the United States.

Installation of a polarizer for full treatment in the water supply pipe! Introduction of a case where scale was removed and it became clean.

The beauty salon uses a lot of hot water. In particular, Iowa is an area with hard water (water with high calcium content), so the electric water heater's supply system was constantly required to be cleaned with acidic chemicals due to scale troubles. A "Model: PI-20F" polarizer with a connection diameter of 3/4 inch (20A) was installed for full treatment on the water supply pipe of this beauty salon. As a result, the scale (water stains) that had previously been very dirty was removed, and it became clean, surprising the customers. [Measures and Effects (Excerpt)] - Installed a "Model: PI-20F" polarizer with a connection diameter of 3/4 inch (20A) for full treatment on the water supply pipe. - The surface of the electric heater only has a soft, thick white film. - The inside surfaces and bottom of the tank also became clean, and the walls became very smooth. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Effect of Open Cooling Towers on Algae Suppression [Magnetic Water Treatment Device Vol. 14]

A comparative test was conducted at a certain public facility in Tokyo! We will introduce a case where water clarity improved through polar treatment.

Two identical cooling towers are arranged in parallel using the same source water, and both cooling towers were cleaned in the same manner before entering the test. One of the cooling towers was equipped with the Polar magnetic water treatment device "PI-40F." The other continued to operate as usual with automatic blowdown using an algae growth inhibitor. The side using the inhibitor showed a significant presence of algae throughout, with a lot of foaming in the water, while the side using the Polar device showed no algae growth at all, and the water clarity improved compared to before. [Test Details] - Two identical cooling towers are arranged in parallel, using the same source water. - Both cooling towers were cleaned in the same manner before the test. - One of the cooling towers was equipped with the Polar magnetic water treatment device "PI-40F." - The chemical treatment side continued operation with automatic blowdown using an algae growth inhibitor. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Examples of Softening and Dissolution of Cooling Water System Scale [Magnetic Water Treatment Device Vol. 3]

Comparison before and after use (2.5 months)! The softening and dissolution of scale was confirmed.

Water treated with magnetic processing using a polarizer causes softening and dissolution of scale. A polarizer model "PI-15(15A)" was installed in the test equipment to investigate the softening and dissolution outflow of scale in the test pipe. Comparing before the use of the polarizer and 2.5 months after its use, it was found that softening and dissolution of the scale occurred. It is considered that it may take a considerable amount of time to remove scale solely with the polarizer, so while the primary purpose is to prevent scale adhesion, it is believed that it does not have the rapid effectiveness of chemical cleaning for removing adhered scale, but it can prevent scale buildup inside the pipes. [Test Overview] ■ Provider: Environmental Frontier Co., Ltd. (Shizuoka City) ■ Test Period: June 1, 1984, to August 15, 1984 (approximately 2.5 months) ■ Purpose: Does water treated with magnetic processing using a polarizer cause softening and dissolution of scale? ■ Method: A polarizer model "PI-15(15A)" was installed in the test equipment to investigate the softening and dissolution outflow of scale in the test pipe. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Red Water Countermeasures (Hotel Hot Water) [Magnetic Water Treatment Device Vol. 12]

We will introduce a case where the red water completely stopped, the water became transparent, and the troubles were resolved!

The effectiveness of Polar as a countermeasure against hot water red water was confirmed. In large buildings and hotels, after more than 10 years, the dissolved oxygen, chlorine ions, and pH in the water cause corrosion to progress on the inner surface of the pipelines, resulting in red water due to rust in the hot water and bath, which becomes a significant operational issue. In response to such troubles, Polar significantly suppresses the progression of corrosion without the need for chemical injection, resolving the red water issue. The facts regarding this matter were evaluated by a lining contractor in the residential newspaper "Amenity." [Case Study] ■ Purpose: Confirmation of the effectiveness of Polar as a countermeasure against hot water red water. ■ Installation: One unit of Polar model "PI-40F" was installed in a bypass manner on the main pipe to treat 50% of the hot water circulation volume magnetically (installed on June 5, 1987). *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Case study on the removal of red rust from cooling water (chiller water) [Magnetic Water Treatment Device Vol. 1]

Conducting a test to confirm the effectiveness of rust removal! After the test, we will introduce cases where the rust was beautifully removed.

We would like to introduce the test conducted by our company to confirm the effectiveness of Polar in removing red rust. The water tank used was made from a drum that had been utilized during fire training, and it was quite rusty both inside and out. The purpose of the test was to observe how the rust on the inside and bottom, which came into contact with Polar water, would change. During the test, the rust inside the tank (drum) caused the water to become red and murky, making the bottom invisible. However, after the test, the rust on the inner walls and bottom that had come into contact with Polar water was completely removed. It should be noted that the upper part of the inner wall, about 10 cm high, which did not come into contact with Polar water, remained unchanged from before the test. [Test Overview] ■ Duration: February 23, 1989 - March 16, 1989 ■ Location: Underground boiler room of a certain automobile dealer headquarters in Nagano City ■ Purpose - To remove the red rust (Fe203) generated inside the sample pipe by Polar and to see if it can be reduced to black rust (Fe304). *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Case Study on Scale Prevention in Closed Cooling Towers [Magnetic Water Treatment Device Vol. 6]

We will introduce a case where it was confirmed that there was no scale adhesion and successfully saved on water costs!

On October 24, 2000, a polar type "PI-25CF" was installed on the spray pipe of the cooling tower using a partial bypass method, and automatic blow management was conducted without chemicals at the conventional electrical conductivity of 60 ms/m. On November 22, 2000, one month after using the polar system, a check was conducted for scale deposition at the heat exchange section of the cooling tower, and no scale was found, confirming the effectiveness of the polar system. At 3.5 months of using the polar system, an extreme experiment was conducted by further concentrating the electrical conductivity to 120 ms/m to save on water supply, and it was confirmed that there was no scale deposition, successfully achieving savings on water costs. [Issues and Measures] - The supply water (well water) had a pH of 6.7, electrical conductivity of 30 ms/m, silica of 56 mg/L, M-alkali of 76 mg/L, and calcium of 31 mg/L, making water quality management very challenging. - The model "PI-25CF" was installed, which includes a magnet strainer, the polar main unit, and a flow meter. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Red Water Measures (Water Supply and Hot Water Supply for Large Buildings) [Magnetic Water Treatment Device Vol. 10]

We installed a polar magnetic water treatment device! We will introduce a case where the red water completely improved and stopped after 6 months.

After 25 years since construction, the water supply and hot water became discolored due to the white gas pipes, causing discomfort. To address the red water issue and protect asset value, we installed the "Polar Magnetic Water Treatment Device." Subsequently, improvements of over 90% were confirmed by the 30th to 40th day, and after six months, the red water issue was completely resolved. The antibacterial activated carbon filter of "PDF-1" removed chlorine odors and trihalomethanes, which are carcinogenic substances, allowing us to enjoy delicious tea and water as magnetically activated water in a powerful magnetic field of 6000 gauss, which received great acclaim. [Case Study: Water Supply] ■ August 25, 2000 - Installed Polar model "PI-40CF" in a 30m3 water tank. ■ 45 days after Polar treatment - Red water stopped with iron content at 0.16mg/L. ■ Six months after Polar treatment - Both water supply and hot water taps were opened, passing without red water. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
