[Construction Example] Three-Dimensional Geocell Method "GeoWeb Retaining Wall Method"

Capable of accommodating changes in gradient! We propose the design and construction of retaining walls tailored to on-site needs.

We would like to introduce a case study of the "GeoWeb Retaining Wall Method" using the 3D Geocell construction method. In this project, it was necessary to implement protective work for a slope that changes from a 5:1 cut slope to a 2:1 slope over a length of approximately 16 meters due to road improvement work. The method adopted is a product made by continuously pressing high-density polyethylene sheets into a honeycomb shape, allowing for the construction of a retaining wall structure by filling the expanded GeoWeb with crushed stone and soil while stacking it in a stepped manner. 【Case Overview】 ■Challenges - It was necessary to implement protective work for a slope that changes from a 5:1 cut slope to a 2:1 slope over a length of approximately 16 meters due to road improvement work. ■Results - By adjusting the setback width while stacking in a stepped manner, it was possible to construct a retaining wall that accommodates the changing slope. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Case] Solcomat Method Butt Reinforcement Method <Example of Typhoon No. 19 in Reiwa Year 1>

We propose a method for reinforcing river levees as a crisis management hard measure! Case study from Typhoon No. 19.

We would like to introduce a case where the effectiveness of crisis management-type hard measures for levee toe reinforcement was confirmed. In the Arakawa River system, at a location where crisis management-type hard measures were implemented due to Typhoon No. 19, overflow occurred (with a water depth of about 25 cm during the overflow), but there was a case where the levee did not breach. The "Solcomat toe reinforcement method" proposed by our company can be used for crisis management-type hard measures. 【Proposed Construction Method】 ■ Solcomat Toe Reinforcement Method - Extends the time until river levee destruction during overflow at a water depth of 20 cm - Highly effective in reducing the depth of scour directly beneath the levee foundation - This content has been reported at the Soil Mechanics Society research presentation *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Case] Proposal for Energy-Saving Connection Block Method "Solcomat"

We propose an alternative method for slope protection at the backfill area next to the sediment control dam!

We would like to introduce a case where we proposed the energy-saving joint block method "Solcomat" for the construction of concrete sediment control dams. In this site, it became difficult to install concrete secondary products and rock fragments generated on-site on the slopes. Therefore, we proposed and adopted the construction of a surface protection work that could shorten the construction period. The Solcomat, which is integrated with filter cloth, has a flexible structure that accommodates differential settlement. 【Features of the adopted method】 ■ Enables quick construction, reducing construction time and costs ■ The manufacturing method allows for immediate demolding, enabling shorter delivery times ■ A flexible structure integrated with filter cloth that accommodates differential settlement ■ Excellent permeability through the mesh of the filter cloth *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example] Erosion prevention of accumulated soil and prevention of rolling stone-type rockfalls through forestry conservation work.

Examples of construction methods suitable for sites where large and small boulders, floating stones, and soil are mixed!

We would like to introduce a case where the "Tezak Super Lock (G-spec)" was installed as a rockfall prevention rope work in the restoration and mountain conservation project in the Nabewari area. This project was commissioned by the Gunma Forest Management Office of the Kanto Regional Forest Management Bureau and was carried out in Gunma Prefecture. The area covered is 400m², with the soil type being rock and gravel. This method involves the installation of wire mesh and erosion control mats as auxiliary materials to prevent the erosion of accumulated soil while primarily preventing rockfall in the form of rolling stones. 【Case Overview】 ■ Project Name: Nabewari Area Restoration and Mountain Conservation Project ■ Location: Gunma Prefecture ■ Date of Construction: July 2020 (Reiwa 2) ■ Area: 400m² ■ Soil Type: Rock and Gravel *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Case] An example of a site where it is difficult to grasp the location and quantity of rockfall sources.

A case of a construction method suitable for sites where it is difficult to grasp the location and quantity of rockfall sources, such as when surface soil is fully accumulated.

This is an introduction to a case where the rockfall prevention rope installation "Tezak Super Lock (G-spec)" was implemented in restoration and erosion control work. The project was commissioned by the Higashi-yo Regional Bureau of Ehime Prefecture and carried out in Ehime Prefecture. It involved securing scattered rockfall sources and preventing the occurrence of new rolling stones and floating stones due to surface erosion. The accompanying erosion control mat is designed to protect the surface layer over the long term, combining erosion prevention effects with a foundation for plant growth. 【Case Overview】 ■ Project Name: Restoration and Erosion Control Work ■ Location: Ehime Prefecture ■ Date of Construction: 2020 (R2) ■ Area: 700 m² ■ Purpose: Rockfall countermeasures and prevention *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
