[Super Soil Construction Case] Example of Rainwater Storage in Schoolyard
Naha City Kura Elementary School - Case Study of Greenery Project with Super Soil Water Storage Function
We would like to introduce a case study of the artificial lightweight material "Super Sol," made from crushed and sintered waste glass, used for rainwater retention in schoolyards. The rainwater retention system utilizing Super Sol can maintain water quality without circulating the stored rainwater, allowing for low-cost installation and reduced running costs. It is used for irrigation of plantings on a daily basis and can be utilized as emergency water during disasters, contributing to the conservation of water resources. This project was completed through the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism's "Frontier Project by Construction Companies." 【Case Study】 - Project Details: Greenery project with Super Sol water retention function at Furukawa Elementary School, Naha City - Usage Category: Purification / Rainwater retention tank filling material / Schoolyard greening - Client: Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism - Location: Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture - Required Performance: Porous / Corrosion suppression For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
