Japan Post Co., Ltd. has been entrusted with 3PL for fishing tackle mail order! Building solutions with the postal network and new WMS.

We would like to introduce a case where Japan Post Co., Ltd. implemented 'iWMS X5' as a WMS for external sales aimed at mail order shippers. The company had previously built systems to support its own logistics, but there were some aspects that were somewhat unsuitable for directly providing to mail order businesses. Therefore, they selected this system, which has basic functions packaged for flexibility and compatibility with mail order businesses, and conducted joint development based on it. By outputting invoices (delivery notes and shipping labels) tailored to the shipping process, the labor-intensive task of matching invoices with packages afterwards can be streamlined. This allows for double or triple checks by reading the shipping labels, making it possible to prevent mis-shipments and mistakes in sending shipping labels.
