[FA Site Improvement Case] I want to visualize the number of defective products during equipment downtime.

Improving Quality: Identifying the number of defective products through the visualization of casting equipment error time!

We will introduce a case study of improvements in FA (Factory Automation) sites proposed by Patlite. Due to errors in the casting equipment, the machine stopped, causing a drop in internal temperature and leading to defective products. However, there was a problem in that the downtime could not be grasped on-site, making it impossible to confirm the number of defective products. Therefore, the layered information display light "LA6" was introduced. Upon receiving a signal of an abnormal occurrence, the "LA6" displays the downtime as a timer. By increasing the red timer lights in stages from 1 to 5 every minute, it became possible to confirm the downtime from a distance by the number of lit segments. [Case Study] ■ Current Situation - The equipment that experienced an abnormal stop was timed by the person in charge to identify the number of defective products. - Downtime could not be grasped on-site, making it impossible to confirm the number of defective products. ■ Proposal - With the timer display function, the number of displays increases every minute from the occurrence of an abnormality, allowing the downtime to be confirmed from a distance by the number of lit segments. - Wiring is easy with just one additional wire along with the conventional signal light. - Display time, display color (21 colors), and patterns (15) can be changed using editing software. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us. https://www.patlite.co.jp/

We will introduce a case study of improvements in FA (Factory Automation) sites proposed by Patlite. In a manufacturing plant facing the challenge of not knowing which drainage tank has exceeded its water level without checking each time, we proposed visualizing the water storage levels using the layered information display light "LA6 type." It became immediately clear which drainage tank was over the water level, and with the elapsed time also visualized, it enabled responses according to the urgency of the situation. 【Case Study】 ■ Current Situation - It is unclear which drainage tank has exceeded its water level without checking. - The inability to know the elapsed time since the water level exceeded makes it difficult to assess urgency. ■ Implementation Effects - It is immediately clear which drainage tank is over the water level. - Visualization of elapsed time allows for responses according to urgency. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us. https://www.patlite.co.jp/ ↓↓↓ Official Online Shop ↓↓↓

[FA Site Improvement Case] Visualization of the sand quantity in the hopper within the factory.

Visualization of analog data: Monitoring remaining amounts while in the office.

We will introduce an example of improvement in the FA (Factory Automation) site proposed by Patlite. In a work environment where the amount of sand in the hopper is checked visually, there are risks involved in the checking process, and there is a possibility of sand overflowing. We proposed the "LA6 type" layered information display light. The "LA6 type" can express the amount of sand in terms of layers and colors freely when combined with sensors. In case of overflow or other dangerous situations, it alerts with a particularly noticeable lighting pattern, such as full illumination. Now, overflow monitoring can be done along with remaining quantity management while staying in the office. 【Case Study】 ■ Current Situation - The amount of sand in the hopper is checked visually. - The checking process involves risks. - There is a possibility of sand overflowing. ■ Proposal - By combining with sensors, the amount of sand can be expressed freely in terms of layers and colors. - In case of overflow or other dangerous situations, it provides warnings with particularly noticeable lighting patterns, such as full illumination. - The display patterns can be freely edited using application software. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us. https://www.patlite.co.jp/ ↓↓↓ Official Online Shop ↓↓↓

[FA Site Improvement Case] Visualization of Tank Remaining Quantity through Remote Alarm Notification

"Visualization of analog data" can be implemented at low cost through wireless technology.

We will introduce an example of improvement in FA (Factory Automation) sites proposed by Patlite. At a certain food packaging factory, sterilizing solution was being injected in an outdoor separate building, but there were frequent cases where the tank ran out of solution without anyone noticing. In response, we introduced our wireless control unit and a load information display light. This allowed for visualization of the remaining amount in the separate office building, enabling timely replenishment before running out of solution. Since the remaining amount could be displayed by threshold, it became clear at a glance. 【Case Study】 ■ Issues - Sterilizing solution was being injected in an outdoor separate building, but there were frequent cases where the tank ran out of solution without anyone noticing. ■ Benefits of Implementation - Visualization of the remaining amount in the separate office building allowed for timely replenishment before running out of solution. - Wireless technology made it possible to implement at a low cost. - The remaining amount could be displayed by threshold, making it clear at a glance. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us. https://www.patlite.co.jp/ ↓↓↓ Official Online Shop ↓↓↓

[Network Camera Improvement Case] Incinerator Temperature Anomaly Notification

Visualizing facility anomalies! Remote confirmation possible from central control rooms and other locations.

A case study is introduced where a network monitoring indicator from Patlite was implemented at a site where it was a challenge for administrators to recognize when the incinerator temperature exceeded the threshold. It became possible to notify the contractor's office and the central control room of abnormal detections, allowing for remote confirmation of furnace damage and unburned materials. 【Case Study】 ■ Before Implementation - Administrators could not recognize when the incinerator temperature exceeded the threshold. - Facilities operating 24 hours required FAPC and NVR. ■ After Implementation - It became possible to notify the contractor's office and the central control room of abnormal detections. - Remote confirmation of furnace damage and unburned materials became possible. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us. https://www.patlite.co.jp/ ↓↓↓ Official Online Shop ↓↓↓

[Network Camera Improvement Case] Effective in preventing impersonation!

Identify whether the person is a registered user or not with a lamp upon entering the facility! Visualization through a facial recognition system.

This is an example of introducing Patlite's network monitoring indicator light to a facility that had the challenge of not being able to identify individuals who were not authorized to enter the facility on the spot. When entering the facility, it helps to prevent impersonation by identifying whether someone is a registered user or not with a green/red lamp on the spot. 【Case Study】 ■ Before Introduction - Unable to identify individuals who are not authorized to enter the facility on the spot. - Even with cameras installed, they only serve for verification after an incident occurs. ■ After Introduction - Identifies whether someone is a registered user or not with a green/red lamp on the spot upon entering the facility. - Prevents impersonation. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us. https://www.patlite.co.jp/ ↓↓↓ Official Online Shop ↓↓↓

[Network Camera Improvement Case] Filling the Gaps in Labor Reduction

Visualization with a simple system! Smooth response from security personnel even at remote locations!

At a certain factory, there was a problem where parking in a no-parking area went unnoticed by the distant guard room, causing security personnel to be overwhelmed with responses. In response, we proposed the Patlite network monitoring signal light. When a vehicle is parked in the no-parking area, the signal light immediately alerts the security room, allowing for visibility even from remote locations and eliminating disruptions to operations. [Case Study] ■ Before Implementation - Vehicles were parked in the no-parking area at the factory, and security personnel were overwhelmed with responses. ■ After Implementation - The security room is alerted when a vehicle is parked in the no-parking area, allowing for the vehicle to be moved and eliminating disruptions to operations. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us. https://www.patlite.co.jp/ ↓↓↓ Official Online Shop ↓↓↓
