Change the existing aeration device in the treatment tank to an Aqua Blaster to enhance processing capacity, allowing treatment to be conducted without the use of a pressurized flotation device.

Due to the increase in wastewater volume associated with the factory expansion, the aeration device of the existing treatment tank was changed to an Aqua Blaster to enhance processing capacity. By installing Aqua Blasters in the adjustment tank and aeration tank, we successfully accepted a load increase of 10-20% without increasing the tank size. Furthermore, it has become possible to carry out treatment without using a pressurized flotation device.

Investigating the effects of natural aroma in childcare settings during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Natural aromas derived from plants have scents that are expected to have antiviral and antibacterial effects, as well as the power to alleviate stress and promote a change in mood. Therefore, at At Aroma, we conducted a survey in collaboration with Hibino Design Co., Ltd. and the Nishimoto Laboratory at Fukui University to investigate the effects of natural aromas in childcare settings. **Summary of Survey Results** As a result of using At Aroma's essential oils in childcare settings, we obtained experimental results indicating that using the oils led to a positive change in mood and feelings. **Regarding the mood of caregivers before and after the installation of the aroma:** In both cases, an increase in values was observed, indicating that the scent had a positive impact on the caregivers' work environment. Improvement of wastewater treatment facilities at food complexes for processing stability and reduction of electricity costs.

The removal rate of BOD is 80%, and the removal rate of normal hexane extractable substances is 82%, showing significant improvement! Even after more than 8 and a half years, it maintains a no-maintenance state.

Before the installation of the Aqua Blaster, a large amount of grease scum accumulated in just one day, leading to the formation of oil balls. Hydrogen sulfide was generated to the extent that it corroded surrounding equipment. The oil balls on the water surface and those that sank to the bottom were regularly manually retrieved and disposed of as industrial waste. As a result of installing the Aqua Blaster, the removal rate of BOD improved significantly to 80%, and the removal rate of normal hexane extractable substances improved to 82%. Even after more than eight and a half years, there has been no need for removal or dredging work, and a no-maintenance state has continued. The dramatic improvement in water quality has led to waterfowl visiting the sedimentation tank every year without fail. Below are the results from the installation in 2012 until 2020, covering eight years: - With a six-hour retention time in the adjustment tank, BOD and n-hex were cut by over 80%. - The floating grease and settled sludge that had accumulated in the adjustment tank have not been removed even once in eight years. - Hydrogen sulfide levels, which were at 100 ppm, have been reduced to 0 ppm. - The outlet of Aeration Tank 1 meets Setouchi regulations. - The sludge conversion rate for BOD has been reduced from 35% to 25%. - The sedimentation tank has remained stable, attracting ducks. - Excess sludge has drastically decreased, and the odor from its steam drying is no longer a concern.
