We have renewed and reopened the "Inkjet Innovation Lab Fujimi" at our Fujimi Business Office (located in Fujimi Town, Suwa County, Nagano Prefecture). We will expand solutions based on print heads into new areas and accelerate innovation in our customers' printing and production processes. The facility is equipped with a clean room with a cleanliness class of 1000, equivalent to that of an electronic components factory, allowing for the prototyping of electronic devices such as OLED (organic EL) displays, touch sensors, and solar cells. Additionally, the interior is designed as a yellow room, enabling the handling of UV-curable resins that cure under ultraviolet light and materials that are prone to performance changes. We have also assembled a full set of equipment necessary for diverse prototyping to develop new inkjet processes, allowing for a one-stop implementation that includes post-print evaluation. As part of the renewal, we have newly installed a color inkjet 3D printing device. Furthermore, we provide an open space that fosters diverse and rich ideas, including a studio for broadcasting experimental activities and the establishment of a meeting area.

Because they use a non-contact method, they can print on various media, and since they don't use heat, a variety of inks (substances) can be utilized.
