Typically, exploration is conducted in Distance mode using an encoder (distance meter). For surfaces with significant irregularities, such as chiseled or delaminated areas, exploration is done in Time mode. For surfaces that have both flat and uneven areas, both functions can be used simultaneously in Hybrid mode. While electrochemical methods require watering and some chiseling, iCAMM offers complete non-destructive testing without any such requirements. iCAMM is available for sale, rental, and inspection services.
