Why not use aluminum as a conductive material? 'Nickel-plated aluminum'
A unique nickel plating treatment is applied to the aluminum surface, which "reduces contact resistance" and allows for stable long-term electrical conduction through the aluminum.
Nickel-plated aluminum is aluminum with a nickel layer developed independently by Japan Aluminum. It undergoes a nickel plating treatment that is precipitated onto the aluminum surface under unique conditions, allowing for reduced contact resistance and stable long-term electrical conductivity through the aluminum. In metal connections of aluminum base materials, contact resistance increases with prolonged use; however, our nickel-plated aluminum suppresses the increase in contact resistance and maintains conductivity.
