Substation device with ground fault reclosing function for high-voltage automatic circuit breakers (simple REC)
It becomes possible to isolate the accident point and reduce the power outage range without operating the feeder CB.
By using it in combination with high-voltage automatic circuit breakers and high-voltage ground fault direction indicators, it is possible to separate the fault point and reduce the scope of power outages on distribution lines where intermittent ground fault incidents and instantaneous ground fault incidents occur repeatedly without operating the feeder circuit breaker. Since it can be used with high-voltage automatic sectionalizers, there is no need for special pole-mounted reclosing protection devices (recloser high-voltage devices). Additionally, due to its small and lightweight design, it is easy to relocate and install along with portable high-voltage ground fault indicators.
