◆Concerns Regarding Security Monitoring During Event Operations In Okazaki City, the following issues were identified in the security monitoring of the fireworks festival up to the previous year: - Due to the worsening labor shortage and rising personnel costs each year, the festival was forced to operate with a limited number of security personnel. - As a countermeasure to the shortage of security personnel, the introduction of surveillance cameras was being promoted; however, in crowded areas with a high number of attendees, mobile carrier networks became congested, leading to delays in video transmission and making real-time monitoring of crowd flow difficult. - For outdoor cameras, selecting installation locations was challenging, and obtaining installation permits, including the use of roads, required coordination with many stakeholders, sometimes prolonging the process until installation. Furthermore, despite being for short-term use during the event period, the need for large-scale installation work resulted in high implementation costs.

Monitoring was conducted at a remote security headquarters based on the captured footage, and security personnel were deployed to the scene in real-time according to the congestion situation.
