It comes in three types that correspond to rockfall energies of 106kJ, 218kJ, and 316kJ. The Neo Rock Net is a pile-type rockfall protection net composed of posts, wire mesh, wire ropes, anchors, and damping devices. The posts utilize high-strength structures with reinforced rebar placed inside steel pipes and filled with mortar. Additionally, as a self-supporting post structure based on pile foundations, it does not require supporting members such as mountain-side anchors or guy ropes. It features a two-stage energy absorption mechanism that captures and mitigates falling rocks on the barrier surface, guiding them downward.
