Timber Frame | Building story-like structures with large cross-section timber.
Yume Mokukou Co., Ltd.
The building itself becomes the stage for the story. Stores, residences, management buildings, theme parks.
Timber frame log houses are constructed using large-dimension timber, showcasing the robust wooden structure as an integral part of the building's expression. The structural beauty created by the large timber and the craftsmanship of artisans results in buildings that catch the eye and evoke a sense of storytelling. ■ A building reminiscent of a story, a highlight of the facility The great appeal of timber frames lies in their potential to become the symbol of the facility itself. Whether as a landmark in a theme park or tourist attraction, the main building of a lodging facility, or a restaurant, shop, or visitor center, these structures leave a lasting impression on visitors. "There’s a desire to visit just to see this building." This is the kind of architectural highlight that can be created using wood. ■ The powerful structural beauty created by large-dimension timber Large-dimension timber is used for columns and beams. The structure built with large timber creates a sense of scale that differs from typical wooden buildings. By combining it with atriums, large spaces, and wide openings, the wooden structure can be fully showcased. Not only does the exterior impress, but the moment one enters the building, the structure itself shapes the impression of the space.

■ Support for hand processing and hand axe finishing by craftsmen Wood processing is not limited to machine processing; it also accommodates hand processing by craftsmen. In addition to joint processing, we also offer surface finishing with a hand axe (chouna). It is possible to achieve a finish that retains the marks of handwork, which is different from machine-finished wood. This can be utilized in architecture that aims to emphasize the presence of wood more strongly, as well as in creating an atmosphere reminiscent of historical wooden buildings. ■ It is also possible to combine traditional hand processing with large cross-section wooden structures and special hardware. Pricing will be provided upon request, whether for the structural frame only, up to the construction stage, or for general construction.
