2-pole type, surface mount type
Surface mount type two-pole varistor (GDT) It is implemented in the internal circuits of communication devices and is used to protect equipment from induced voltages caused by communication lines and signal lines. This surface mount component achieves higher durability compared to the conventional SD4 type. It has the same external dimensions as the conventional SD4 series, and the substrate land pattern is common. Therefore, no redesign is necessary when switching to this product.
