Since its establishment in 1930, Sanko Shiya has expanded its business in response to the needs of the times, ranging from the design and manufacturing of communication safety devices and lightning rods to the design and manufacturing of meteorological observation instruments and optical technology-related equipment. Additionally, we established Franklin Japan (in Sagamihara City), a lightning and meteorological information company, and provide high-precision lightning strike information services through a lightning observation network installed across Japan, solidifying our position as the world's only comprehensive company related to 'lightning,' from observation to protection.
